Trying just a little too hard perhaps?

And for the sake of your questioner, I'm a believer in 'matching' for that pro-style look. If Castelli went to the trouble of designing a jersey to go with a particular bib, than its only appropriate to buy both and wear them together. And whilst the height summer in Australia calls for light colours, any time the temp falls below 25C, Im a believer that Black is the new Black. Hard to not show some style in all black bib and jersey. Topped (or bottomed) off with white socks/shoes of course. Johnny Cash had it right.

Re: How To Dress PRO

... hate to revisit an old chestnut, I now have drawn the conclusion to look or dress PRO ... simply comes down to the size and shape of your legs sans hair.

Re: How To Dress PRO

Like the Rapha one, another stupid "How To Dress" thread.

Re: How To Dress PRO

http://www.facebook.com/gro...
and if you want to look fully euro pro you must abide to these guide lines

Re: How To Dress PRO

You guys have to keep at eye out when in Adelaide for the TourDownUnder next year. Curses!!

A serious question: how do I know when to replace my knicks? I've come back to cycling after buying a decent bike for my budget for my daily commutes and I've got some 3/4 length knicks. I like to think I take proper care of them, washing them after each ride in wool wash. I don't want to be one of the dreaded bum meshers - ick!!

Re: How To Dress PRO

Went for a ride this morning in one of 5 new Descente BLACK bibs... felt very conscious of it and it seemed horribly NOT PRO. These knicks are usually transparent allowing those behind to see all and sundry and in direct sunlight you can see what one has had for breakfast. Usually cheaper brand knicks or lighter colours are culprits, however 'See Through Bum' does not discriminate.

Not changing your knicks every season or two - Not PRO!

Re: How To Dress PRO

Have I also missed clip on Aero bars?

Re: How To Dress PRO

I agree, and disagree.

Team sponsors change seasonally.
