Who knew?

Re: Planning A Cycling Holiday? Unreal cycling island. I spent 2 weeks there and didn't do the same ride twice. It has something for everyone and you can even bring your wife and kids. There's lots for them to do too!

It's very popular european holiday destination but not well known outside. Also is a golfers paradise, so bring your clubs!

Re: Planning A Cycling Holiday? April in Mallorca, off to Italy for the Giro in May, June in Switzerland then off to France in July. You could even ride in that time

Re: Planning A Cycling Holiday? Stayed at a little B&B for cyclists (http://www.velopyrenees.com..., the accom and food was great (and cheap) and there was a nice little stream to dip the legs in after a ride.

All the major Tour peaks (Tourmalet, Port de Bales, Peyresourde, Col d'Aspin, etc) are within riding distance and each morning Julie and Lee at Velo Pyrenees will give you a map of your route for the day. Awesome, highly recommend it.
